Q1: Is there a deadline to submit my request?

A1: Yes. Our company will accept online requests for grants/sponsorships, through the Community Grants Program, during the on-line application cycles.

Q2: What is the range for a grant or sponsorship for a Community Grant?

A2: Most of our grants range from $1,000 to $5,000.

Q3: How long will it take to receive a response?

A3: You should expect to receive an answer within six to eight weeks.

Q4: Does Edison International fund capital grants?

A4: No.

TOP

Q5: Does Edison International fund outside its areas of operations?

A5: In general, no. We fund non-profit organizations that provide service in areas where we do business and reserve the right to fund outside these areas when appropriate.

Q6: Does Edison International provide individual support?

A6: No. Unfortunately, regulations by which we are bound, do not allow us to provide funding to individuals. However, the EAF, CARE and FERA programs provide assistance on energy bills for those in need. You can find out more at SCE.com/CARE.

Q7: Does Edison International fund American Youth Soccer Organizations, cheer teams, school sports leagues, festivals, carnivals and parties?

A7: No. Our targeted areas of support are public safety, education, environment and civic non-profit organizations.

Q8: Does Edison International provide free electrical services to fix park or church light fixtures, poles, etc.?

A8: No. Regulations prohibit us from contributing to these types of services and property.

Q9: What can I do if I am having problems with accessing links and applications because my computer blocks pop-ups?

A9: Alter your Internet settings to enable access to pop-ups for this site.

Q10: As I fill out the online application, will my copied-and-pasted text include all formatting, including bullets and indentations, when I insert into a text box?

A10: No. Only simple text is allowed and viewable in the applications text boxes.

Q11: If I complete one application, will the contact information be carried over to the next?

A11: No. The system does not allow for carrying over information inputted on any given application. Each application requires the user to manually input information.

Q12: If I am submitting more than one application, will the application automatically populate similar fields?

A12: No. Each application must be completed and filled out individually.
