The Peggy Notebart Nature Museum is one of Chicago's newest, world-class museums. It's the region's only environmental museum, dedicated to exploring and nurturing the co-existence of humans and the natural environment. Edison has been a supporter of the museum since its opening, and established the "Midwest Generation Special Exhibit Gallery," which hosts traveling exhibits designed to encourage science literacy and make children more aware of and sensitive to their environment.
