Connie J. Erickson

Vice President and Controller

As vice president and controller of Southern California Edison (SCE), Erickson is responsible for all accounting, transaction processing, and reporting functions of the controller’s organization.

Prior to joining SCE in 2014, Erickson served in a variety of roles at Southern Company, a publicly held energy company in the Southeast.  Most recently, she was comptroller of the company’s Florida-based subsidiary, Gulf Power Company, where she was responsible for all financial and regulatory accounting functions including internal controls.  During her 12-year tenure with the company, Erickson also held positions with both Southern Company Generation and Southern Company Gas.

Before working at Southern Company, Erickson held a variety of senior financial roles in the automotive division of GNB Technologies, based in Atlanta, Georgia.  In 2000, the company was acquired by Exide Technologies, Inc., a global leader in electric energy storage solutions for the automotive, telecommunications and motive power industries. Following the acquisition, she served as controller of a business unit of the company.

Erickson also held various positions at Graco, Inc., a manufacturer of fluid handling solutions based in Minneapolis, and she worked in the audit division of Arthur Andersen & Company in Minneapolis.

Erickson, a certified public accountant, earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree with honors from the University of North Dakota.
