Mark Clarke is vice president and controller of Edison International. He is responsible for corporate financial accounting and reporting, SEC compliance, internal controls and technical accounting matters.

Prior to his current role, Clarke was vice president and controller for Edison Mission Group where he was responsible for supervising the corporate accounting function, including maintaining an effective system of internal accounting controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. His responsibilities included managing internal and SEC reporting, property accounting, general ledger and accounts payable. Clarke joined EMG as assistant controller in 1999. 

Prior to joining EMG, Clarke worked at Entergy Corporation. He was also at The Cerplex Group where he served as vice president and corporate controller. Clarke also held several executive positions at Holmes & Narver and at Hadson Power Systems.

Clarke received his bachelor of arts degree from California State University, Fullerton, and is a certified public accountant.
