Stephen E. Pickett is senior vice president and general counsel for Southern California Edison (SCE), the utility subsidiary of Edison International.
He joined SCE in 1978 as an attorney and later became an assistant general counsel. He became an associate general counsel in 1998 and has been instrumental in resolving issues before the California Public Utilities Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He was elected vice president and general counsel on January 1, 2000 and senior vice president on January 1, 2002.
Pickett received a B.S. in electrical engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, and his J.D. from Southwestern Law School.
