Kevin Cini is vice president of Energy Supply and Management in Southern California Edison’s Power Procurement business unit.
Cini served as Director of SCE’s Energy Supply and Management (ES&M) department from October 1997 to February 2007. ES&M is a department of more than 100 individuals with the responsibility for conventional power procurement and trading to serve the power supply needs of SCE’s “bundled” customers. ES&M is also responsible for natural gas procurement for SCE’s owned and contracted gas-fired generation, for financial hedging and risk management, and for least-cost dispatch of SCE’s generation portfolio.
Cini has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to joining SCE, he served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear-trained submarine officer.
