Stacy R. Mines is vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer of Ethics and Compliance for Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the nation’s largest electric utilities.
Mines is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the SCE ethics and compliance program.
Prior to her current role, Mines served as SCE’s Ethics and Compliance deputy officer. Mines led the effort to enhance the company’s compliance review structure and oversaw the Ethics Helpline and related investigation processes. She was responsible for the company’s annual ethics certification process and served as the backup to the vice president and chief Ethics and Compliance officer.
Before serving as deputy officer, Mines was the director of Client Services for Human Resources at SCE, responsible for employee relations and work force planning. Mines also previously managed the Equal Opportunity and Diversity functions for SCE and was responsible for oversight of the company’s diversity and affirmative action programs.
Mines joined SCE in 1993 as a labor and employment lawyer in SCE’s Law Department. Before that, she was a Law student.
Mines earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from San Diego State University and a Law degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law.
