Two million watts of power comes off a Fontana, CA, warehouse roof and into Southern California Edison’s neighborhood grid.

Southern California Edison’s first solar PV installation in Fontana, CA – 33,700 solar panels generating two million watts of power on a leased 600,000-square-foot distribution warehouse

Southern California Edison’s second solar PV installation in Chino, CA – 16,300 solar panels generating one million watts of power on a leased 458,000-square-foot distribution warehouse.

Southern California Edison’s third solar PV installation in Rialto, CA – 16,300 solar panels generating one million watts of power on a leased roof of a 436,000-square-foot distribution warehouse.

Southern California Edison’s largest solar PV installation in Porterville, CA – a 29,400-panel, 32-acre ground-mount installation, that, when completed, will be capable of feeding 6.7 million watts of solar energy into SCE’s Central Valley grid.

Porterville panel arrays are installed and the site is in test mode.

Southern California edison threw the switch Feb. 1, 2011, connecting to its neighborhood grid four new solar stations in Ontario, CA, and three additional solar plants in Redlands, CA.

The seven sites added to Southern California Edison's network of solar stations Feb. 1, 2011, have a combined generating capacity of 12.5 million watts and bring the total number of solar plants SCE operates to 10.
