Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management & Insurance and General Auditor
Dave Heller is vice president of Enterprise Risk Management & Insurance and General Auditor. He is responsible for the company’s risk management and insurance programs, from strategic direction to oversight and monitoring. He is also responsible for oversight of the company’s internal audits department and the execution of its internal audit function. Prior to this assignment, he served as chief ethics and compliance officer.
Prior to joining Edison International, he served as director of ethics and business conduct at The Boeing Company, where he was responsible for developing strategic direction for international ethics and compliance programs. He also managed corporate investigations worldwide for Boeing.
Previously, Heller served as vice president of risk management and chief compliance officer for Qwest Communications and its predecessor, U.S. West. He also has advised Mobil Oil on safety and security issues.
He is a member of the executive advisory board of the Society of Corporate Ethics and Compliance and a board member of Ethics Resource Center.
Heller earned a bachelor’s degree in safety and fire protection engineering technology from Oklahoma State University, a master’s degree in environmental policy and management from the University of Denver, and a J.D. from the University of Denver School of Law.
