Colin E. Cushnie

Vice President, Power Supply

Colin Cushnie is vice president of the Power Supply organization at Southern California Edison (SCE). Cushnie is responsible for SCE’s generation, wholesale energy contracting and management, energy and emissions trading, and wholesale energy market and settlement operations.

Previously, Cushnie was director of Portfolio Planning & Analysis in the Power Supply unit at SCE, responsible for the company’s wholesale energy solicitation valuations, energy portfolio analysis and risk assessment, and demand and price forecasting.

Cushnie also served as a director of Regulatory Affairs for SCE, based in the company’s San Francisco office. He was responsible for representing SCE before the California Public Utilities Commission and other agencies on matters relating to wholesale energy procurement and market design.

Cushnie joined SCE in 1987, serving in a variety of management and analyst positions related to power procurement, natural gas fuel supply, contract management, and construction and material procurement.

Cushnie graduated cum laude from Whittier College with a bachelor degree in both economics and business administration.
