As vice president of Operational Services at Southern California Edison (SCE), James (Jim) Niemiec is responsible for leading the company’s supply chain, procurement, transportation services, corporate real estate, environmental services and supplier diversity functions. Operational Services is a critical partner to all parts of SCE, purchasing and delivering about $4 billion annually in supplies, materials and services. Niemiec has served in similar senior operations leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Company, Live Nation Entertainment, MGM Resorts International, and most recently Beachbody LLC. Earlier in his career, Niemiec served as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, leading operational improvements for clients across manufacturing, technology, media and entertainment. Niemiec served in the U.S. Army as a captain in counterintelligence and is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics. He holds both MBA and J.D. degrees from Stanford University. Niemiec volunteers in leadership roles with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles.
