Jennifer Hasbrouck is senior vice president and general counsel for Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the nation’s largest electric utilities. She is responsible for all of the company’s legal affairs. Hasbrouck joined SCE in 1999 and previously was an assistant general counsel. During her career, she has overseen a wide range of legal matters, with a primary focus on SCE’s regulatory affairs including SCE’s rate cases at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the California Public Utilities Commission, major transmission projects, customer programs and smart metering. She also has led SCE’s legal team on wildfire matters. Prior to SCE, Hasbrouck worked as part of the litigation group in a large international law firm, representing a variety of clients on commercial litigation matters. Hasbrouck serves on the boards of directors of Public Counsel, one of Los Angeles’ premier public interest legal organizations, and the Friends of the LA Law Library. Hasbrouck earned her bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame; her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles; and an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
