Dana Kracke is a vice president at Southern California Edison, responsible for several functions including Safety, Security, Compliance, Ethics, Business Resiliency and Environmental Programs.
Kracke has held a variety of executive roles, including staff, operational and start-up positions at Edison International, Southern California Edison, and Edison Mission Energy. Prior to her current position, she was vice president, Chairman’s Office at Edison International, providing support to the chairman on matters coming before the Edison International Managing Committee, activities between the parent company, operating companies and corporate-wide special projects.
Since starting with Edison in 1990, Kracke’s career has been shaped by broad experiences. She has led major projects across a range of industry sectors including electricity, water, telecommunications, and oil pipelines. The projects included initiatives to develop corporate strategies, perform merger and acquisition analyses, integrate organizations following acquisition, plan and implement transformational changes and resolve organizational issues. She has previously led several functions, including Strategic Planning, Finance Planning and Analysis, Risk Management and Customer Service operational organizations.
Kracke earned an M.B.A. and bachelor of arts degree in Economics at University of California, Irvine.
