Daniel Wood is vice president of Operational Finance at Southern California Edison, the utility subsidiary of Edison International and one of the largest electric utilities in the country. He is responsible for strategic finance functions at both the corporate and operating unit levels, including planning, forecasting and reporting activities.
Prior to this position, Wood was vice president and treasurer of SCE, responsible for corporate financial planning, financing and capital markets activities, liquidity and cash management and long-term investments.
In his 21 years at Edison, Wood has held several leadership roles at both SCE and Edison International, including positions in corporate financial planning and long-term finance.
Wood earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and his MBA from Pepperdine University.
