Erica Bowman

Erica Bowman is vice president of Strategy, Planning and Performance at
Southern California Edison and its parent company, Edison International.
Bowman’s team is responsible for Edison’s strategic vision, including
identifying and assessing corporate development opportunities, aligning
strategic and technological efforts and translating initiatives into
actionable business plans while helping to manage performance to
achieve desired multiyear outcomes.
Previously, Bowman served as managing director of Regulatory Policy and Strategic Analysis overseeing SCE’s climate mitigation and adaptation strategies, environmental and electrification policies, pricing and rate design, and long-term planning functions. Before this role, she was director of the Edison International CEO’s Office. She has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector and across Edison International, SCE and Edison Mission Energy.
Before joining SCE, Erica was the chief economist at two trade associations in Washington, D.C. and worked in competitive power markets at Edison Mission Marketing and Trading in Boston.
Bowman currently serves on the board of the Coalition for Clean Air, a nonprofit with a mission to protect public health, improve air quality and prevent climate change.
Erica received her master’s degree in science from Northeastern University in Boston and her bachelor’s degree in science and engineering from Princeton University in Princeton, N.J.
