A Culture of Giving Back: Employee Giving & Volunteering at Edison
Charitable giving is an ingrained, important part of the culture here at Edison International, and we encourage everyone to give back. Whether they choose to take part in our organized community-volunteering events, volunteer on their own, raise money for favorite non-profits, or take advantage of our matching-gifts program, it’s all good with us.

Employees Raise $8,295 for UNCF
Each year, hundreds of Edison employees participate in the Annual UNCF Walk for Education to raise funds for one of the nation's largest and most effective minority education organizations. At our utility, Southern California Edison, members of the Employee Resource Group called the Networkers raised a total of $8,295 for UNCF in 2015.
Helping End Homelessness Among Veterans
Of the dozens of volunteer opportunities available to Edison employees each year, our National Family Day events are among the most popular. This year, with a focus on helping to end hunger and homelessness among veterans, we assembled food boxes at the Orange County Food Bank and participated in the United Way HomeWalk in Los Angeles.
